FaxTool
automates the entire process of sending a fax, once you've set
up a script in ScriptMaker. You can specify different headers
on your fax pages for different reports, generate custom reports
and send them to different people, send the same page to hundreds
of people, specify different dialing prefs depending upon your
location ALL WITHIN FILEMAKER. No other fax-from-FileMaker product
gives you this level of easy automation.
Just think: no more importing and exporting address books. No more
holding down "OPTION-P" hundreds of times as you fax to a found
set. No more tweaking your fax software settings. No more printing
reports and hand-feeding them through a fax machine waiting for
connections and redials. FaxTool saves you hours of time and miles
of wear on your mouse hand.

Variations
on a Theme
One
of the interesting things about this process is that the faxprint
file (before sending, while it's waiting for the destinations
file) can accept more than one destination. In other words, that
same file that you faxprinted, can be sent to several people,
if you select multiple people in the address book window.
The fax software can append many destinations to the same faxprint
file. Of course, the modem has to dial and send each number individually.
The important thing here, though, is that you don't have to wait
for the FaxPrinter to faxprint the file for every destination.
Wait for faxprint once, and send to many people. Quite a timesaver,
if you're looking to send out dozens of faxes.
