FaxPrint
meets Destination
At
this point the fax "destination" you just selected and the faxprint
file on your hard drive are joined by your fax software, and actual
task of sending the fax begins.
Note that all of this takes place in the background. After you hit
that "Fax" button, you can go on with your life, and your fax
software automatically kicks into gear.
Once your faxprint file and destination file are joined, your fax software
knows what to send and where to send it. The software dials your
modem, connects to another machine, and sends the fax on its way.
The software cleans up your old files (usually sticks them in
a "Sent Fax" folder) and switches your printer back to the print
driver you had before all of this started.
